Genealogy
I have been interested in genealogy since the summer of 1977 when my father had his 60th birthday party. At the party I interviewed some of my relatives that had moved to USA and Canada in the early part of the 20th century.
    I have concentrated my genealogy research to the following families: Huotari from Kuhmo, Keränen from Paltamosta, Häikiö from Muhos, Heikkinen, Savolainen, Mehtonen, and Vainikainen from Savo (eastern part of Finland). My objective is to create an extensive database about my ancestors.
